Friday Summer Program: Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy & Learning

Help us plan! We want to know who is interested in our Friday program so we can build age-appropriate groups where students can connect and grow together. Your responses will also help us determine class times and transportation to make participation as easy as possible.

Friday group sessions will be held at The Sanctuary Property, located across from the Rim Station at 12930 US-191, Pinedale, WY 82941. We are planning to start classes in July and will announce class schedules and age groups as they are confirmed! We know summer is busy, so students are welcome to join at any point once the program is underway — just submit your paperwork and we will get you connected when the time is right.

Equine-Facilitated Learning (EFL) creates experiences with horses to help students build life skills like confidence, communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation in a hands-on, engaging way. Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) takes it a step further — a licensed therapist is present and the horses become part of the healing process, helping students work through challenges in a natural, supportive setting. Sessions will be determined by participant needs and available facilitators.

Scholarships are available through Reclaiming Hope's Hooves & Hope Program.

We are still determining class times and age groups based on community interest — your responses will help us shape the program! We are also looking for positive community members who want to support the program — reach out if you would like to help!

Help us by completing our online,Student Interest Form.

The Herd and The Heart

An Evening of Horses, Mindfulness, & Restoration

Saturday, August 1 | 5:00–8:00 PM
The Sanctuary Property, located across from the Rim Station at 12930 US-191, Pinedale, WY 82941 • Limited to 8 participants

Slow down. Breathe deeply. Reconnect with yourself in the company of horses and Wyoming's beautiful summer landscape.

Join Rebecca Dary of PranaSol and Kayley Gillitzer of Compass Equine Learning for a unique evening that combines mindfulness, Equine-Facilitated Learning, and gentle restorative yoga.

We'll begin by settling into the present with grounding breathwork and gentle standing movement, then move into a powerful Equine-Facilitated Learning experience with Kayley. Through non-riding, hands-on interactions with horses, you may explore self-awareness, emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, and authentic connection, in a safe and supportive environment. Horses naturally respond to our presence, offering immediate, honest feedback that helps us better understand ourselves and how we move through the world.

As the evening winds down, we'll gather for a peaceful outdoor restorative yoga practice overlooking Wyoming's rugged beauty, allowing your nervous system time to integrate the experience while leaving you feeling grounded, refreshed, and restored.

No horse or yoga experience is necessary.

Come exactly as you are.

Early Bird Pricing: $109/person before 7/23, afterward $126

Cost should not be a barrier. Contact us to learn about our limited scholarship and sliding-scale opportunities.

Space is intentionally limited to just 8 participants to create a meaningful, personalized experience.
